Why organisations partner with this
If you hire compliance talent, you already know the pool is small, the poaching cycle inflates cost, and junior talent has no route in. The Fellowship manufactures that route and lets you observe 30–40 high-potential professionals delivering real work for sixteen weeks before you make a hiring decision.
If you operate in a regulated digital asset market, the quality of supervision in your jurisdictions is a direct input to your cost of doing business. Weak capacity produces licensing backlogs, unpredictable enforcement and de-risking. Strong capacity produces markets you can plan around.
If your mandate is development, this is a measurable, replicable capacity-building instrument with published outputs, tracked employment outcomes, deliberate public-sector inclusion and independent evaluation after Cohort 3.
If you need policy voice, the Dialogue convenes regulators and industry in the same room, and the research is authored in Africa about African markets.

We publish the full budget framework in the concept note. We would rather be transparent and negotiated down than opaque and distrusted.
What we ask and what we don't
- We will not
- sell editorial control. Research publication is approved by an independent Research Council, and the funding behind any output is disclosed.
- We will not
- guarantee hiring outcomes to partners, any more than we guarantee them to Fellows.
- We will
- report honestly, including against targets we miss.
- We will
- conduct due diligence on partners through Legum Compliance, and we expect the same scrutiny in return.
