The Dialogue
The Legum Digital Assets & Compliance Dialogue
Where African regulators, institutions and industry work through the hard questions, before they become crises. Built by the Founding Cohort.
What it is
The Dialogue is a convening platform: a session series, a research programme, a regulatory intelligence function, a community and an annual summit.
It exists because the questions in front of African policymakers right now, monetary sovereignty under stablecoin adoption, Travel Rule implementation across asymmetric jurisdictions, licensing regimes that can actually be supervised, consumer protection in high-adoption low-protection markets: do not have imported answers.
They need African research, African data and African regulatory judgement. Which requires African researchers and regulators trained to produce it.
What it produces
- Session series
- Convening regulators and industry, some on the record, some under Chatham House rule where candour requires it.
- The African Stablecoin Regulatory Report
- The flagship annual publication.
- The Digital Asset Policy Tracker
- Regulatory developments across African jurisdictions, maintained to a documented verification protocol.
- Policy briefs and country studies
- Short-form analysis with drafted recommendations.
- The Regulatory Intelligence Bulletin
- Recurring, for subscribers.
- The Annual Summit
- The convening where it all lands.
